Robert W. Shatz,
Chairman
Robert has spent 25 years in institutional investment research and sales. He
lived in Japan for six years and learned to read, write, and speak Japanese.
He worked for The Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. seven years - three at Nomura Research Institute in
Nihnobashi and four at Nomura Securities International, Inc.in Los Angeles.
During that time, he facilitated joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and
venture investments. He holds a B.A. in Oriental Studies from the
University of Arizona and a Master's of International Management from The
Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Kevin K. Lee, Director
Kevin came to the U.S.A. in 1976 to run the New York office of Kukje Corporation, one of the four largest Korean conglomerates at that time.
He holds a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering College of The Seoul
National Universityand studied at the Stern Business School at New York University. Kevin is a seasoned business executive with extensive experience in a multinational setting.
He is also a cultural and professional "insider" with the requisite personal and professional ties in South Korea often
necessary to do business in that environment.
Daniel J. Rachlin, M.D., Ph.D., Director
Dan is an expert in the evaluation of technology.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from Case Western Reserve, a M.D. from University
of Missouri, and Doctor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University
with an emphasis in medical imaging systems. He also has expertise in
strategic planning and business development.
